How to reach us
By Car
Coming from the motorway, follow the road sign showing “Fiera” and then take the “Fiera” exit. Follow the road sign showing “Centro”. Once arrived at Bologna’s beltway, turn left and then turn right at “Porta San Donato” taking Via Irnerio. After 500 meters you will find Dopa Hostel at number 41 on the left side of the road. Just park front of it or keep driving on via Irnerio and park below Piazza VIII Agosto. In the city center, the parking fee is 2,40 euro/h. Before you leave your car, you have to pay a ticket in one of the several machines located close by and put the ticket on the car dashboard. You can also use a daily parking ticket if you leave the car just a bit outside the beltway (10 minute walk from Dopa Hostel). Parking is free everywhere in Bologna between 20:00 and 8:00, and all day long on sunday.
By Plane
From Marconi Airport, take an “Aerobus” to Bologna Centrale Train Station. Once there, just cross the square, turn left and then right on Via Indipendenza. Walk along Via Indipendenza till the crosswalk of Via Irnerio. Turn left on Via Irnerio and carry on for 500 meters. You’ll find Dopa Hostel on the right side of the street at number 41 (it’s a yellow building overlooking the famous building “Casa Editrice Zanichelli”). You can also reach the hostel by bus from Bologna Centrale Train Station. Just cross the square in front of the station, go to the opposite side of the large road and catch the bus number 36 (direction Ospedale Bellaria) or number 37 (direction Bombicci). In both cases, get off the bus at the 3rd stop.
By Train
Get out from Bologna Centrale train station (city center side) and once there just cross the square, turn left and then right on via Indipendenza. Walk along Via Indipendenza till the crosswalk of Via Irnerio. Turn left on Via Irnerio and carry on for 500 meters. You’ll find Dopa Hostel on the right side of the street at number 41 (it’s a yellow building overlooking the famous building “Casa Editrice Zanichelli”). If want to reach the hostel by bus from Bologna Centrale Train Station, just cross the square in front of the station, go to the opposite side of the large road and catch the bus number 36 (direction Ospedale Bellaria) or number 37 (direction Bombicci). By Taxi
There are many taxi services in Bologna. There are also taxi hubs both at Marconi Airport and Bologna Centrale Train Station. Ask the driver to bring you to Dopa Hostel, or Ostello Dopa (which is the italian translation of “Hostel”) in Via Irnerio 41, just in front of famous building “Casa Editrice Zanichelli”. By Train
